The work is for the Electrical Upgrades for the East Brampton Pumping Station, Contract 1, Project 21-1975.

The completed Work will provide Agency with a new electrical service, exterior electrical substation and a building expansion housing the new electrical line-up to the station that meets latest Peel Standards.

The Contract includes but is not limited to the following work:

1. Adhering to the Agency’s communication and public relations strategies
2. Constructing the complete works as specified herein
3. Supply of products as specified
4. Civil
   • Site preparation
5. Earthworks
   • Tree removal
   • Grading, drainage, sodding and landscaping
   • Site drainage during the construction period
   • Temporary works and facilities during the construction period as indicated in Section 1.2.2 above.
   • Maintaining existing roads used during construction and leaving these roads in as good a condition as they were prior to site work
   • Completion of all inspections, testing, and regulatory approvals
6. Process
   • Placing the equipment supplied under this Contract into successful continuous operation
7. Structural
   • Building expansion
   • Site restoration to existing or better condition
   • Mechanical systems
   • Earth stabilization systems
8. Electrical, Instrumentation and Control
   • Refer to Section 16000 Scope of Work
9. Cleaning up on completion.
10. Furnishing of materials, equipment, tools, implements, and labour.
11. Heating and ventilation
12. Commissioning/pre-commissioning
13. Warranty period

This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
(CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.
