Description: 

Scope of the consultant’s assignment includes the Class EA Schedule B, design, contract administration and inspection for the upgrades to the Finch Storm Water Pumping Station.

Proposed upgrades comprise the following:

  • Construct new valve chamber adjacent to existing discharge manhole to house check valves, gate valves and flow meters.
  • Replace existing submersible pumps, including piping.
  • Construct new emergency generator/control building complete with new generator & ATS.
  • Provide access to new valve chamber and generator building through Canadian Blood Services parking lot.
  • Demolish existing generator building
  • Miscellaneous modifications and site improvements to meet new SPS Standards.
