Pre-qualification of contractors for Various Renovations at the Region of Peel Long Term Care Homes.

The Project will include the following scope:

Renovate a total of 10 Tub or Shower Rooms. The scope includes new epoxy flooring, new cabinetry, accessories, wall tile, mirror, wall paint and a wall mural, plumbing supply, waste and floor drain relocation if applicable, special institutional tub or shower replacement etc.  The rooms are to be renovated in an occupied Healthcare Long term Care Facility and phased as per the Facility Program needs without adversely affecting their bathing services to their residents. The 10 Tub and Shower Rooms to be renovated are located in the Resident Home Areas (RHA): Humber Court, Pinerose Court, Woodhill Court, Mayfield Court and Wildfield Court.

Servery Upgrades, Replacement of flooring and millwork in the south serveries on the second, third and fourth floor. Also, replacement of flooring in Spruce Lane on the first-floor behavioural unit. The scope includes new millwork and associated finishes including flooring, wall tile and painting.

Adult Day Services Washroom renovation:  This project includes the renovation and reconfiguration of (1) universal washroom/shower room and (1) barrier free washroom.  The scope includes new epoxy flooring, new cabinetry, accessories, wall tile, towel warmer, mirror, wall paint new fold down change table (where specified), privacy curtain and track, new door hardware, modified ceiling lift (where specified), upgraded HVAC, acoustical ceiling tile, plumbing, supply, waste and floor drain relocation if applicable, etc. The areas to be renovated are located in the ADS room in the basement level of Sheridan Villa.
