Description: 

Summary of Work Description:

  1. Mobilization and site preparation.
  2. Site safety and security for the full duration of this contract.
  3. By-pass pumping of sewage for the duration of the project.
  4. Installation of temporary pump control system to maintain the continuous operation of the By-pass pumping of wastewater during construction.
  5. Construction of new forcemain bypass and connection to the existing forcemain.
  6. Full depth demolition and off site removal of the existing wet well, dry well, and Control Building.
  7. Construction of a new pumping station with a wet well, a valve chamber, overflow storage chamber and control building, including: structural, architectural, and installation of pumps, miscellaneous piping, valves, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and installation of instrumentation and control systems.
  8. Coordinate with and support Owner’s PLC/SCADA programmer to start up site with new control system as per owners commissioning standards found in PAIDS.  Assist with 3G communication setup.
  9. Relocation of existing storm sewer.
  10. Grinding off asphalt from existing access road and resurfacing with new asphalt.
  11. Pressure testing and commissioning, including costs for any water used during construction and testing.
  12. Demonstration and Training.
  13. Site grading, landscaping and planting.
  14. Demobilization, site restoration and cleaning.

This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
(CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.
