The Regional Municipality of Peel requires a Vendor to undertake the 2023 Cordon Count program in accordance with the Terms of Reference outlined herein, for all required locations under the Agency’s jurisdiction. These locations include approximately 40 traffic count stations along MTO highways as well as approximately 60 high-priority arterial road stations along Peel’s regional and local roads. The Cordon Count Program collects data on how vehicles and people travel in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) based on trip origin and destination, direction of travel, and vehicle type and occupancy.
