Prequalification of Contractors for HVAC and Fuel Switching Upgrades Project at Lakeview Promenade, City of Mississauga, Project 24540

The Project will include the following scope:

1. Replacement of existing gas-fired MUA with new unit equipped with a heat pump and electric backup heater.
2. Replacement of in-suite electric baseboard heaters with new packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) units.
3. Provision of new energy recovery ventilators (ERV’s) inside each unit, including bulkhead installation and patching/painting.
4. Replace all apartment unit electrical panels with new.
5. Coordinate with Alectra for replacement of existing utility transformer and provision of a new utility owned pad mount transformer. Perform all ancillary work related to this that is not performed by Alectra such as grounding.
6. Provide new switchgear, bus duct, and transformers as a result of service upgrade.
7. Provide new structural foundation in existing parking garage for new utility transformer, and related mechanical works.
8. Provision of temporary generator and cabling to serve site during construction.
9. All other upgrades to electrical distribution to suit the increased load requirements.
10. Miscellaneous tasks including cutting, patching, painting, hoarding, and furnishing of suites to provide tenants with temporary accommodations for in-suite work.
11. Multi-phased construction
