The Regional Municipality of Peel (herein after referred to as the “Agency”) is seeking qualified legal counsel in various practice areas to supplement its legal team on an as-needed basis. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to establish a Roster of qualified legal counsel for a period of three years in each of the following practice areas whom the Agency can retain on a case-by-case basis:

(i) General Municipal Law,
(ii) Planning and Development Law,
(iii) General Civil Litigation,
(iv) Environmental Law,
(v) Intellectual Property (“IP”) Law,
(vi) Information Technology (“IT”) Law,
(vii) Construction and Infrastructure Law,
(viii) Real Estate Law,
(ix) Expropriation Law,
(x) Labour and Employment Law,
(xi) Information and Privacy,
(xii) Municipal Finance, Tax and Investments,
(xiii) Residential Tenancy Law,
(xiv) Procurement Law, and,
(xv) Construction Litigation and Construction Lien Litigation.

Any requests for changes to the Form of General Retainer Agreement attached as Appendix 9.1 must be submitted for the Agency’s consideration during the bidding period through the Bidding System.
