Description: 

The work in this Contract consists of the replacement of pumps, including any process mechanical, electrical and instrumentation and control requirements, at each of McVean SPS, Front St. SPS and Indian Rd. SPS. Generally, without limiting the scope of the Contract, the Work under this Contract includes:

  1. McVean SPS – 1 existing pump to be replaced with a new pump of equivalent capacity; the removed pump shall be refurbished by the contractor and returned to the Region to be retained as a shelf spare.
  2. Front SPS – 2 existing pumps to be replaced with 2 new pumps of equivalent capacity; 1 of the removed pumps shall be refurbished by the contractor and returned to the Region to be retained as a shelf spare.; the other removed pump shall be disposed of.
  3. Indian Rd. SPS - 1 existing pump to be replaced with a new pump of equivalent capacity; the removed pump shall be refurbished by the contractor and returned to the Region to be retained as a shelf spare.
  4. Associated electrical and instrumentation and control modifications and works to ensure proper function of the new pumps
  5. Associated bypass works throughout the duration of construction: refer to Section 02140 Temporary Bypass Pumping System and the Contract Drawings.

The bid document will be posted https://peelregion.bidsandtenders.ca when available. This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.
