On behalf of the Region of Peel’s Long Term Care Homes (LTC Homes), the Regional Municipality of Peel (hereinafter referred to as the “Agency”) requires an experienced vendor  for the supply, delivery and installation of portable and stationary oxygen delivery systems and provision of related services for individuals residing at the Long-Term Care (LTC) Homes and participating in the Agency’s Adult Day Services (ADS) program.

The bid document will be posted https://peelregion.bidsandtenders.ca when available. This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS 

The Bidder must:

• be an authorized vendor to provide home oxygen therapy under the Province of Ontario’s Assistive Devices Program (ADP), and unless otherwise approved by the Agency, appears on the Ministry’s current list of authorized ADP providers for home oxygen in the table at: https://www.ontario.ca/page/home-oxygen-therapy; 
• carry a full range of ADP‑funded home oxygen therapy equipment and related services (including liquid oxygen) in accordance with the Ministry’s ADP Home Oxygen Product Manual, as amended from time to time (current version as of published date is April 1, 2024); 
• have the ability to bill all OHIP insured services directly to the Ontario Health Insurance Plan; and
• provide proof that Registered Respiratory Therapists assigned to the Agency are licensed and in good standing with their respective regulatory college and are entitled to practice in Ontario prior to awarding and upon request during the contract terms. The Bidder must confirm/attest to meeting the above mandatory requirements in the applicable areas of the Online Bidding System forms to be given any consideration for award.
