The Work includes but is not limited to, the supply of all labour, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the Work as shown or as inferred by the Contract Documents. In general, the main items of work covered by this Contract include but are not limited to the following: .1 3400m of 1200mm diameter watermain along Heart Lake Road and through an easement by open cut construction methods. .2 3400m of 900mm diameter watermain along Heart Lake Road and through an easement by open cut construction methods. .3 2000m of 400mm diameter watermain along Heart Lake Road by open cut construction methods. .4 Trenchless creek crossing .5 Excavation for and installation of valve of varying diameter, geometries and functionality in accordance with applicable Region of Peel standard drawings and requirements, inclusive of electrical equipment and other related appurtenances PREQUALIFIED GENERAL CONTRACTORS AND/OR SUB-CONTRACTORS The following Contractors have been prequalified for the open cut works for this project in accordance with prequalification document 2024-579PQ:
The following Contractors have been prequalified for the micro-tunnelling works for this project in accordance with prequalification document 2022-200PQ:
The Agency will only accept Bidder Submissions in response to this Request for Tender from the prequalified open cut or micro-tunnelling firms stated above. Any Bidder Submissions from Bidders not prequalified through either Document 2024-579PQ or 2022-200PQ, and stated above, shall be deemed non-compliant and not considered for contract award. A non-mandatory virtual meeting is scheduled for Tuesday June 10, 2025 at 2:30 pm through Microsoft Teams. A link to join the meeting can be found in Instructions to Bidders, Item 3.3 of the Document. Attendance will be at the discretion of the Bidder, however, Bidders who choose not to attend will be deemed to have received all of the information made available to attendees. A Bidder’s failure to attend the non-mandatory site visit is at the Bidder’s sole risk and responsibility. |
