Description: 

This Contract is for the road reconstruction and streetscape improvements to Queen Street East, including bridge and culvert replacements, from 0.3 kilometres east of Main Street South to 1.0 kilometres east of Main Street in the Village of Alton, in the Town of Caledon, Project 14-4904 and 17-4899.  The work to be done includes but not limited to, clearing and grubbing including tree removal, earth stripping and excavation, installation of storm sewer, granular works, bridge and culvert removal and replacement, retaining walls, grading, placement of concrete curbs and sidewalks, hot mix paving, line painting, decorative street lighting, landscaping and minor related works.
