This Contract encompasses the trenchless rehabilitation of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and culverts utilizing cured-in-place and fold-and-form pipelining technologies. The scope of work also includes external point repair and partial/full-length replacement at various locations within the Regional Municipality of Peel. Scope items involve trenchless rehabilitation and replacement of existing sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and culverts, which include:
The Work shall include, but is not limited to, the provision of all necessary labour, materials, and services required to perform rehabilitation, repair, and associated open-cut operations. This includes saw cutting and removal of asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and vegetated surfaces; excavation and disposal off site of excess materials, including rock and construction surplus material. All excavation work shall include shoring; dewatering; protection of above-ground and underground structures and utilities; backfilling and compaction; placement and jointing of asphalt; traffic control; and site restoration to existing or improved conditions. Open Cut Subcontractors
Prequalified General Contractors (Bidders) shall carry a prequalified Sub-Contractor for bypass and open cut works as identified above. The Agency will only accept Bidder Submissions from the prequalified General Contractors carrying prequalified Sub-Contractors for the respective works.
