The Region of Peel intends to prequalify experienced General Contractors and Open Cut,
Streetscaping, Sanitary Sewer Re-lining, and Traffic Management, Sub-Contractors capable of supplying services required for this project. The Project involves full right of way relocation of existing utilities and construction of a new utility cross section including roadway restoration. Full depth road reconstruction works include: concrete road base, unit pavers across the full right of way, curbs, trees and soil cell installation with root zone irrigation and sub drain system, surface pavement markings, raised cycle tracks, tactile walking surface indicators. This work is on Queen Street between Mill Street to Scott Street and on Main Street from Nelson Street to
Wellington Street.

Watermain and sanitary sewer works are also being completed within the same area. These works
include replacement and rehabilitation of various small diameter watermains and sanitary sewers by means of open cut. This work is primarily located along Queen St. East and West, Maple Avenue, Elizabeth St. South, Main St. North and South, Chapel St., Mary St, George St. South, George St. North, Moore Cres., Diplock Lane, Viviane Lane, Park Hill Ct., Wellington St. East, James St., and Nelson St. West in the City of Brampton. The proposed works includes installation of approximately 2550m of 150mm-400mm watermain including both large and small
diameter servicing replacement, replacement of approximately 250m of 250mm to 375mm sanitary sewer, rehabilitation of approximately 1090m of 200mm to 375mm sanitary sewer and two 600mm to 675mm sanitary sewer spot replacements.

Full right of way utility relocation along Queen Street between Mill Street to Scott Street and along Main Street from Nelson Street to Wellington Street. The utility owners will tender their design to their approved lists of
contractors and the successful Vendor will be responsible for managing these contracts.
