Description: 

The work is for the Electrical Upgrades for the North Brampton Pumping Station, Project 21-1976.

The Contract includes but is not limited to the following work:

  1. Adhering to the Agency’s communication and public relations strategies
  2. Constructing the complete works as specified herein
  3. Supply of products as specified
  4. Civil
    1. Site preparation
    2. Clearing of the site
  5. Earthworks
    1. Tree pruning, and removal
    2. Grading, drainage, sodding and landscaping
    3. Site drainage during the construction period
    4. Temporary works and facilities during the construction period as indicated in Section 1.2.2 above.
    5. Maintaining existing roads used during construction and leaving these roads in as good a condition as they were prior to site work
    6. Piling systems; pile foundations including pile load tests
    7. Performance testing of all equipment and systems provided
    8. Placing the equipment supplied under this Contract into successful continuous operation
    9. Chamber construction
    10. Completion of all inspections, testing, and regulatory approvals
  6. Structural
    1. Watertightness testing
    2. Cleaning, flushing, pressure testing and draining
    3. Water quality testing
    4. Cleaning up on completion
    5. Site restoration to existing or better condition
    6. Mechanical systems
  7. Electrical
    1. Instrumentation and Control
    2. Refer to Section 016010 Electrical General Requirements
    3. Placing the equipment supplied under this contrat into successful continuous operation.
    4. Performance testing of all equipment and systems provided.
  8. Cleaning up on completion.
  9. Furnishing of materials, equipment, tools, implements, and labour.
  10. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
  11. Odour control
  12. Commissioning/pre-commissioning
  13. Warranty period

This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
(CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.
