Scope of Work: • Selective demolition works; • Renovate interior space to accommodate new and updated existing locker rooms and washrooms; • Building new interior walls to contain private office spaces, meeting, multi purpose, interview and breakout rooms, etc.; • Installation of sound mitigation systems for specified areas; • Installation of new finishes throughout i.e. ceilings, lighting, floorings, millwork, lockers, doors/hardware, washroom finishes etc.; • Coordination and installation with Peel Regional Police standard system furniture to outfit the new space; • Coordination with Peel Regional Police Security vendor for required security equipment; and • All mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, structural and communications works to suit new layout. Construction will be phased and be undertaken in a fully occupied building so after-hours & weekend works will be required to minimize disruptions to PRP’s operations and meet the project’s schedule. PREQUALIFIED GENERAL CONTRACTORS: The following General Contractors/Bidders have been prequalified for this project in accordance with the most recent Prequalified List from prequalification document 2025-458PQ:
The Agency will only accept Bidder Submissions in response to this Request for Tender from the prequalified firms stated above. Any Bidder Submissions from Bidders not on the most recent Prequalified List from Document 2025-458PQ, as stated above, shall be deemed non-compliant and not considered for contract award. This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.
