This Contract is for the reconstruction of The Gore Road (Regional Road 8) from Patterson Side Road to 100m North of Finnerty Sideroad, in the Town of Caledon. The work to be done includes but is not limited to, the following: removals of existing road surface, earthworks excavation, construction of granular road base, new asphalt pavement, culvert replacements, culverts for wildlife passage, armour stone and precast modular retaining walls, rip rap and river stone, guide rails, curbs, splash pads, signing and pavement markings, intersection lighting, landscaping, and all other works necessary to complete the construction in accordance with details set out in the Contract Documents.
