The Agency is seeking an experienced Vendor working with Emergency Vehicles, for the Supply and Installation of Mobile Data Terminal (mCAD) Equipment for Peel Regional Paramedic Services (PRPS) fleet. mCAD is a technology solution that brings a “front of cab” mobile dispatching solution to frontline ambulances and emergency response vehicles (ERV). The technology solution uses a software application, on Apple iPads and iPhones, to deliver ambulance call details electronically to paramedics. This includes scene hazards and direct route mapping information to the call, using existing map applications such as “Waze, or “Google Maps”. This helps to facilitate more efficient and quicker response times to 911 calls. PRPS provided hardware and technology will require mounting and installation into PRPS vehicles.
