Peel Region requires high spatial resolution multispectral satellite image data for a tree canopy cover assessment project. Acquiring current digital satellite imagery will allow Peel Region in conjunction with its five (5) program partners (City of Mississauga, City of Brampton, Town of Caledon, CVC, and TRCA) to determine current land cover conditions during peak leaf-on conditions. The digital satellite imagery will be used by contractors to undertake land cover and canopy cover analysis and mapping. |
