The Work includes but is not limited to, the supply of all labour, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the Work as shown or as inferred by the Contract Documents. In general, the main items of work covered by this Contract include but are not limited to the following: .1 Watermains and ancillary structures .2 Tunnel Installation: Completion of vertical shafts to accommodate tunnel construction; provide initial support for excavated tunnel and install carrier pipe within tunnel and grout annulus outside carrier pipe; install and support pipe within vertical shafts and extend outside the shafts; backfill annular space in vertical shafts and construct all permanent chambers such as drain and valve chambers; pre-commissioning or commissioning and testing of installed work; restoration, including but not limited to roadwork, landscaping, boulevard and sidewalk. .3 Open Cut Installation: Open cut trench to install pipe and connect to tunnel works and existing pipework; construct all permanent chambers such as drain and valve chambers; tie into existing pipework; backfill trench; pre-commissioning or commissioning and testing of installed work; restoration including but not limited to roadwork, landscaping, boulevard and sidewalk PREQUALIFIED GENERAL CONTRACTORS The following General Contractors/Bidders have been prequalified for this project in accordance with the most recent Prequalified List from prequalification document 2022-062PQ:
The Agency will only accept Bidder Submissions in response to this Request for Tender from the prequalified firms stated above. Any Bidder Submissions from Bidders not on the most recent Prequalified List from Document 2022-062PQ, as stated above, shall be deemed non-compliant and not considered for contract award. The bid document will be posted https://peelregion.bidsandtenders.ca when available. This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.
