The Agency intends to call tender for Construction of the Victoria Reservoir in Q2 2024.  Because of the nature and complexity of the work involved, the Agency will be inviting only those Respondents who are most experienced and qualified to bid on and undertake the specified scope of work for the Project.

The purpose of this Document is to identify and select by means of prequalification Respondents to act as concrete and/or caisson subcontractors to the General Contractor. Prequalified Respondents  will be included in the Prequalified Lists for concrete subcontractors and/or caisson subcontractors, and will be included within the upcoming Tender. Only Respondents named to the Prequalified Lists would be included within the subsequent Tender, should the Agency proceed with such a call.

Respondent’s Prequalification Submissions may be for inclusion on the Concrete Subcontractor Prequalified List, the Caisson Subcontractor Prequalified List, or both.

Respondents are advised that a concurrent prequalification for General Contractors for the construction of the Victoria Reservoir is being completed. Prequalification document 2023-590PQ Prequalification of General Contractors for the Construction of the Victoria Reservoir, Project 10-1966, intends to Prequalify General Contractors with the resources and experience to be included in list of invitees when the subsequent tender for the Project is issued. Respondents who have been included in the prequalified list of General Contractors will be required to select from the Prequalified Lists of Caisson and Concrete subcontractors and carry them as part of their bid.

The bid document will be posted https://peelregion.bidsandtenders.ca when available. This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.
