This Contract is for the Widening and Reconstruction of Mississauga Road from Bovaird Drive to approximately 200 meters south of Wanless Drive in the City of Brampton, Projects 10-4040 and 21-1310J. 

The contract also includes Provisional work for the widening of Mississauga Road from 200 meters south of Wanless Drive to Mayfield Road in the City of Brampton. After the project is awarded, the Region may elect to include these provisional works which will be based on the same unit rates provided in the base scope. Notification to include the provisional works would be provided at least 24 months prior to the scheduled contract completion date.

The work to be done includes but not limited to, clearing and grubbing, tree removal, earth stripping and excavation, bridge over CN Rail, bridge over Huttonville Creek, temporary detour road and rail crossing, channel restoration, retaining walls, storm sewers, watermain, granular works, grading, concrete curbs, sidewalks and multi-use trails, hot mix paving, line painting, traffic signals, street lighting, landscaping and minor related works.
