The Construction of Sanitary Sewer on Joymar Drive and Britannia Road West by Microtunneling – Project 16-2300 ASSIGNMENT A, PHASE 3 is anticipated to involve the installation of approximately 1.1km of 1500mm sanitary sewer along Joymar Drive, between Britannia Road West and Tannery Street, and on Britannia Road West, between Millcreek Drive and Pioneer Drive, in the City of Mississauga, as summarized in Table 1. The proposed sanitary sewer is to be constructed by microtunneling at an average depth of 7 to 12 meters below grade, which will be generally within shale bedrock. The sewer pipe shall be reinforced concrete (non-cylinder) pressure pipe C302 (AWWA C302) or reinforced concrete cylinder pipe with a microtunnel joint C300MWM (AWWA C300), and shall
be directly installed by microtunneling. The sewer pipe shall include a pre-cast or post-cast cunette (low flow channel) with a diameter of approximately 375mm.

This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.
