This project is for Inglewood Well 3 Facility Modifications. 

The following is a general, but not necessarily complete, description of the work to be constructed under the
Contract. 
The list below is not intended to specify the order of construction/execution.

  • Addition of one greensand pressure filter complete with piping, valves and media (anthracite and Greensand Plus);
  • Replacement of media (anthracite and GreensandPlus) of two existing greensand pressure filters;
  • Replacement of existing one hot water tank with a tankless heater for the eyewash station;
  • Replacement of dehumidification unit;
  • Replacement of all lighting with LED lights;
  • Epoxy coating of all floors and painting walls;
  • Piping modifications and addition of flow meters to monitor process waste flow;
  • Provide new identification tags for all new and existing equipment;
  • Address corrosion on equipment with surface preparation and painting/coating shown on Drawing P101;
  • Installation of additional ceiling support for cantilever filter inlet pipe; and
  • Installation of protective barriers (e.g. rubber gaskets) between dissimilar metals through the facility.

A mandatory site visit will be held at Inglewood Well 3, 15964 Hurontario Street, Town of Caledon, ON L7C 2G6, and is scheduled for Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11 a.m.

Please note that the above facility is designated under the Regional Safety Program as a hard hat, safety vest and safety boot zone.  All vendors’ representatives will be expected to arrive equipped with hard hat, reflective vest, safety glasses and CSA rated safety boots to participate in the site visit.  Failure to wear the proper safety equipment may result in disqualification from completing the site visit and disqualification of your Vendor submission.

 This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
(CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements.
